Derby light weight easy peasy trailer 2002.The Derby is a modern rear unload double horse trailer with 7’ headroom. Its exceptionally low unladen weight makes it suitable for use behind larger saloon cars. The maximum gross weight is 1700kg but this can be reduced as required if used with only one horse. If the total weight of car trailer and load is less than 3500kg it can be used with the new standard car driver’s license. Horse Area: Carries two horses up to 15.2hh. Solid wood floor covered with rubber matting which has been regularly checked & replaced as necessary. Easy to use padded partitions. Ramp has non-slip matting & is easy to put up & down on your own. Saddle, Bridle & Rug Racks are also in the horse area.
Living Area: Bench seats, with storage underneath, drop down table, gas hob & electrically pumped water, wardrobe & gas fridge. Plenty of cupboard storage. Sleeps two over the luton. Lights powered by a leisure battery in living & horse area. The gas pipes have all been replaced & checked by a Corgi registered fitter.
Mechanical work which has been undertaken on the lorry recently includes: New brake master cylinder, New exhaust system, new wheel bearings & king pin. Welding to the underside of the cab floor & a full service each year that we have owned it.
This is a very reliable little lorry, which has taken us anywhere we have wanted to go & always been maintained to a high standard. There are no major rust areas or holes, the lorry is in extremely good condition for its age.

The Cheval Liberte 2003 XL combines many of the best features from our other models with the added benefit of a front unloading ramp with separate door above, and a huge service door on the other side, the size of the compete front ramp and door on the other side!

The front locker on the o/s is access for the leisure batteries and vehicle battery. (This vehicle system is 12 volt not 24). Ford D Series 910 Horsebox, Non HGV, 7.5 Tonne, 6litre diesel, 1979
Partitioned for 3 or 4 Horses / Ponies - Drive on your Normal Car licence.
Lady Owner Driver, Cheap Insurance, A1 Mechanicals, New Tyres, MOT Lapsed April 2007, Currently Sorned. lots of improvements carried out but is an on-going project. Used regularly for Pony club & hunting. Big reliable 6 cylinder diesel, never fails to start, less than 70k on the clock, Mechanically A1. Chassis is rot free with only surface rust visible. It will easily pass an MOT, only work needed would be a small weld to the drivers wheel arch. Full original Ford workshop manual which makes this a simple vehicle to work on. All the records of when the lorry was down rated from a 9Tonne HGV to 7.5tonne PLG, could be converted back to HGV very easily.
Solid Mahogany box partitioned for 3 to 4 horses or ponies, Custom designed fully adjustable partitions for any shape, size or length Horse/pony. Herringbone layout. Replaced all floor with new mahogany boards & sealed ply over . Washable white boards to the walls for easy cleaning. 1" thick rubber matting to prevent any kicking damage. Box needs either painting or staining, was started but never finished, a very solid Box. Good size day living area, unfitted, gas cooker/grill, sink, water pumps, etc included in sale. Double bed above cab. Sprung ramp with rubber matting & step rails, easy to open & close. Would make ideal hunt lorry as is or finish & fit out with interior for show truck. Very Cheap and easy Horse box that runs all day long! Could be worth 4k Finished, This lorry with new MOT is easily worth 2.5 to 3k, So Grab a bargain! IVECO 50 C11 NEW BUILD, 3 pony or 2 horse body on a Iveco 50c11 5 ton gross weight. The horses travel herringbone with three horse windows, 3 vent windows and roof vent. internally clad with the latest light weight materials. their are 2 internal stall lights and a carpeted well balanced ramp. the rubber floor is fully sealed and drained. An internal locking door leads through to the living area witch is fitted with base and overhead units, Smev glass toped sink and cooker the flooring is a tile laminate and all the walls are clad with oak faced ply. In the Luton witch is fully carpeted there is a mattress and cushions this is accessed via a galvanised steel ladder. The front of the living is cut through to the cab and their is a locking grooms door. This box is finished to a very high standard based on a 2001 51 plate chassis cab which has 6 speed transmission and ABS braking. This vehicle drives like a car, built to be light weight to achieve a large payload with a powerful engine, sprung steel chassis and anti roll bars the handling characteristics are superb.
